Family Vacation

Well 2002 was a busy year for us.  In May we went to Orlando Florida to vacation with our Granddaughter Laycie and her Grandparents BJ & Gary Premoe.  We went to Disney World and Epcot Center with them.  It was so good to see them again and spent some wonderful quality time with them!  Thanks for flying down to Florida and including us in your vacation! 

In August we went back to Orlando Florida with our son Billy and his girlfriend Tara.  We went to Sea World, and a water park Wet N Wild.  We had a great time there at both places!  Then it was onto New Smyrna Beach with the kids and Daytona Beach.  Not a whole lot in either place for the kids to do, but we did manage to have our own fun!  And on the way home the trip to the Daytona 500 that was just what Billy wanted!  He was surprised that we took him there, but he's a huge Dale Earnhardt fan, so it was important for him to go there!  We enjoyed our short time we had with Billy & Tara and appreciate them taking time off work to drive here and go on vacation with us! 

In August we went to Key West Florida with Sharon's parents.  It's been years since we've been there, and this was the first time Larry's been there!  We really enjoyed the key's and found a GREAT Jamaican Restaurant; Coco Palms  while there too!  

   Watching the sunset at Mallory Square was just breathtaking too!  Course the street performers made the sunset more enjoyable also!    After our time at Key West, we went to Cocoa Beach (not the cleanest beach in Florida) but we did have fun.  We went to Kennedy Space Center while there that's a must see if you get the chance!  Then came time for our Cruise to the Bahamas!  That I think was the highlight of the near ending of our vacation!  We really enjoyed the cruise!  We were on Royal Caribbean's Sovereign of the Sea's ship, we had really nice cabins and the ship was great!  We did lots of souvenir shopping in Nassau, and swam and went snorkeling in Coco Cay.

We finally went on a cruise!!  This is the ship we were on, Sovereign of the Sea's Royal Caribbean, we went to Nassau Bahamas & Coco Cay Island.  We had a blast!  Sharon's folks went on the cruise with us.		This picture was taken from the ship, this is a view of Nassau Harbor.  The Bahamas were wonderful!  We all had a great time in Nassau!  We look forward to returning to the Bahamas one day soon hopefully!

Laycie at Epcot Center in May 2002, she was sure fascinated with all the beautiful flowers and shrubs!  Course she's always helping her Grandma & Grandpa Premoe in the yard too! *g*	Tara & Billy at Sea World in August 2002.  They just finished their water balloon fight!  I think Tara won!
